Welcome to our school!

Manhattan Christian School was started in 1907 by a group of parents who wished to provide their children with a quality education from a Biblical perspective. Enrolling at MCS is open to children from Christian families. Because we strongly believe that it takes the home, church and school all working together to provide students the best opportunity to be successful, we require that our parents and children regularly attend a Bible believing church.

Thank you for taking the time to explore our website! We hope you have been able to get acquainted with what our school offers in the areas of academics, the arts and athletics as well as the spiritual life of our school.

Admissions Procedure:

1.    A campus tour is required to receive an enrollment packet. Appointments to tour the school are available Monday through Friday. Please call Gloria Veltkamp, Admissions Director, at 406-282-7261 to schedule a tour. You may also contact her by email:   admissions@manhattanchristian.org  . If you live out of our area we would be happy to mail you our enrollment information packet.

2.   After the family makes a decision, the completed application forms should be brought in or mailed to the school office.

3.   Once all application forms and recommendations have been completed, an interview with the family will be scheduled; both parents should attend the interview along with middle or high school children.

4.   Upon recommendation by the interview committee the school board will make the final decision on enrollment.

Decisions made to educate your children are very important. This procedure has been developed to assure that prospective families have all the information they need regarding the school and that they are committed to having their child(ren) educated from a Christian perspective.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Gloria Veltkamp, Admissions Director, by phone or email.
