About Mrs. Mayo
I was born in Germany and moved to Manhattan when I was five. I went to school at Manhattan Public School from Kindergarten through 12th grade. After High School I attended college at Grace Bible College in Grand Rapids, MI. After one year I decided to move back home and pursue a degree in Elementary Education at Montana State. I did my student teaching at Manhattan Elementary in 3rd grade. I was privileged to be placed with my first grade teacher during this experience. After graduating I began my teaching career here at Manhattan Christian teaching middle school math and science. After two years I was given the opportunity to move to 1st grade. This will be my second year teaching at this level. Along with teaching I also coach volleyball in the high school. My husband and I were married in the summer of 2007 and had our first child, Connor in April of last year. Our family resides in River Rock and attend Journey Church in Bozeman. In addition to teaching and coaching, some of my hobbies include: traveling, camping, hiking, running, cooking, reading, listening to music, and spending time with my family and friends.
